This anime is from the spring 2022 season and is categorized as a psychological anime, supernatural, drama, fiction, mystery and more. It is currently broadcast, with 20 chapters of which there will be 24 at the end of the season. Encouraged by the OLM studio, who have done projects such as: Komi-san wa Comyushou desu, Ijiranaide Nagatoro-san, Odd Taxi, and the entire Pokemon franchise.
In addition to this, a very famous voice actor from recent months participates in Summer Time Rendering: Hanae Natsuki (voice of Tanjiro and Kaneki), who always surprises with the various roles he has.
Synopsis of Summer Time Rendering
After the death of his parents, Shinpei Ajiro He had lived with the Kofune family and their two daughters, Mio and Ushio. Although he later left his home island to continue his education in Tokyo, Shinpei returns after Ushio tragically drowns during an attempted rescue of a girl.
During the funeral, his best friend informs him about the bruises found around Ushio's neck, which causes doubts about the cause of his death. Shinpei suspects that a murder has occurred and reassesses recent events, but strange incidents continue to occur.
There are people disappearing and other inexplicable events that lead Mio to remember an old folk tale that refers to entities called "Shades«, which may not be entirely fantasy. Supposedly, an encounter with Shadow himself predicts the person's imminent death.
Facing the dark side of Hitogashima Island, Shinpei faces his dark destiny to fulfill Ushio's last wish: protect Mio.
Personal opinion
I can't say much more than what has already been said, otherwise I would be giving spoilers for the anime. The less you know, the better; So don't hesitate and go see it now!
This is an anime that I didn't expect much from, since when I read what it was about it seemed very strange to me, but I decided to give it a chance and what a surprise I was. From the first chapter I was on the edge of my seat because of how good it was.
The art that has and represents the emotions of the characters, the opening and ending are too good, the soundtrack, and the writing of the characters cannot be better. It is undoubtedly a 10/10 anime, which I would recommend to every anime fan; especially if you are a fan who likes animes like Re:Zero, ERASED and Steins Gate.
