The Oshi no Ko manga began to be published weekly on April 23, 2020, in the magazine Weekly Young Jump by Shueisha. The author of this work of art is himself Akasaka Aka, who many of us already know for being the author and artist of “Kaguya-sama: Love is War”. Personal Opinion – Oshi no ko manga review
Manga can actually touch on some very dark points about the entertainment industry. Containing suicidal references, based on real events. The fact that these things happen and Oshi no ko manages to convey these feelings is what makes this manga a great work.
There were tense moments where I was actually nervous about what might happen; More than once I shed tears reading this. I love the way we want to know more about what is happening and how the characters will achieve the goals they have set for themselves. As I said before, there are some strong themes such as suicide and violations; so it could be a strong read for some. But, this is what makes it interesting, and leaves you wondering what happened and how.
The chapters are relatively long, and sometimes there is a lot of text about the industry and how it works. But, people who like to know more about little things like that will find it very interesting. There are many facts in the manga that have made me learn different things that I had no idea before. I should make it clear that I'm doing my best not to say too much about the plot. The reason for this is because only in the first chapters do things happen that you don't expect.
The synpnosis may seem a bit strange, but believe me it is worth it. This manga has become one of my favorites, and I will definitely be keeping an eye on it as soon as a new chapter comes out. If you like seinen and drama in general, I really recommend this manga. It is a jewel.
