In this review we tell you our opinion about Masamune-kun no Revenge, a romance and comedy anime released in 2017.
Masamune no Revenge is about a little chubby young man, with his heart destroyed after the cold rejection of his crush, decides to make the change of her life and take care of her body. Becoming one of the most handsome in the school, but this does not stop here. His plan is to make his crush fall in love with him and then reject her in the cruelest way possible, so that she suffers the same way he suffered.
This is what this fun anime called is about. Masamune-kun no Revenge, with a well-deserved review. Many of us can sympathize with the desire of our protagonist, Masamune, by wanting to make the person who made us suffer suffer. But will his plan work as he thinks or maybe certain events happen that make his plan fail more and more? You will discover that by watching the anime!

It was animated by the animation studio SILVER LINK. A studio known for animating the following animes: Kokoro Connect, Bofuri, Non Non Biyori, Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry, Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha, and many more. This animation studio works on very diverse projects, from cute animes and daily life; even animes of action and violence.
The animation is detailed but simple at the same time, where the movements are very smooth and pleasant. It is not something that should surprise us knowing about this great animation studio. For those who have seen other SILVER LINK projects, you will know that the quality of the projects they do is always top notch.

“When Masamune Makabe was a boy, he was rejected by a beautiful rich girl named Aki Adagaki, who gave him the nickname "piggy» for being overweight. Devastated, Masamune went to great lengths to improve his appearance. Now a handsome but narcissistic high school student, Masamune is determined to get revenge: he will make Aki fall madly in love with him and ultimately reject her the next time they meet. To his surprise, Masamune discovers that he has transferred to Aki's school. Putting his plan into motion, Masamune first begins to form a relationship with the "Brutal Princess» but, despite his efforts, he fails miserably in his initial attempts. Surprisingly, when Masamune finally moves towards his revenge, he receives a mysterious letter addressed to him by his old nickname. Personal Review – Review Masamune-kun no Revenge
I remember when I saw this anime I thought it had an incredible and super interesting drama. But now that I think about it, the truth is that it doesn't have a drama that stands out among other comedy romance anime. Yes, it can have its touch of drama that makes it interesting, but it also has many cliché points. The comedy that this anime manages to represent is quite well done, since it made me laugh in different situations. The characters manage to give you different emotions towards each of them, such as hate or love towards the character. That's one of the things I liked about anime.
It is a good romance and comedy anime if you are interested in starting to watch anime of this type of genre. In my personal case it was one of the things that made me like these genres. The truth is, the touches of romance that the anime has are not that many, but those that are there are still of quality. My recommendation is that if you have free time and don't know what to watch, give it a chance, but you can live without watching this anime.
