Doctor Who

56 Years of Broadcasting and They Don't Think of Stopping

From the British BBC network I only follow the series Doctor Who and Shelock Holmes, but they are, without a doubt, my two favorite series, and I'm going to tell you why this one in particular is my top one.

Doctor Who tells the adventures of The Doctor, an individual with human appearance but from one of the most advanced civilizations in the universe: the Time Lords.

He/She is dedicated to protecting every living being with problems throughout the universe, regardless of place or time, since he/she can travel anywhere, and both to the past and the future. In addition, he usually has human companions, who give a more mundane touch to the series and together with whom you, as a viewer, will learn about the universe while The Doctor explains concepts, theories, etc...

The scriptwriters are, truly, geniuses, and they present you with a lot of hypothetical cases in each chapter, with epic resolutions, and at the same time they link small details from one episode to the next and with (for example) data from another premiere four or five months later, in such a way that they create the perfect environment to, in a certain chapter, make you jump out of your chair and make your hair stand on end after witnessing the outcome that you have been waiting for for months.

On other occasions they also present you with problems or enemies that they mentioned two or three years ago, and you are left speechless to see how they face them with simple intelligence, because The Doctor never uses and never will use a weapon.

The way in which the protagonist resolves matters in each episode is undoubtedly very original and unexpected, but many times they are somewhat complicated to understand, so I think it is a series that people who consider themselves mentally agile will like much more. and who likes to observe and learn about phenomena that occur or could occur in outer space.
