As previously announced, the manga “Oshi no Ko" written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, held an event where they revealed information about the anime adaptation project. At this event it was announced that the series would begin broadcasting during the month of April 2023. We also got to see some promotional images, as well as a pretty nice video.

Rie Takahashi (Emilia in Re:Zero) as Ai Hoshino.
Takeo Otsuka (Collot in BEASTARS) like Aqua Hoshino and the new voice actress Yurie Igoma as Ruby Hoshino.
Kento Itou (Nifuji Hirotaka in Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii) as Gorou and Tomoyo Takayanagi (Mikan Hinatsuki in Machikado Mazoku) as Sarina.
It is also important to know that it was confirmed that this adaptation will debut with a first episode lasting 90 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes), including television commercials. The platform HIDIVE will be in charge of distribution in the West.
This manga began to be published weekly in April 2020, in the magazine Weekly Young Jump by Shueisha. The author of this work of art is himself Akasaka Aka, who many of us already know for being the author and artist of “Kaguya-sama: Love is War”. Also participating in this project Yokoyari Mengo like the manga artist; He has done projects like «Scum's wish«.
Synopsis of Oshi no Ko
“Ai Hoshino, sixteen years old, is a talented and beautiful idol who is adored by her fans. She is the embodiment of a pure young maiden. But all that glitters is not gold. Gorou Amemiya is a rural gynecologist and a big fan of Ai. So when the pregnant idol shows up at his hospital, he's beyond baffled. Gorou promises her a safe delivery.
