To your Eternity: Anime Review and Personal Criticism

Life is not infinite, it must have an end, and this is one of the main things that make it beautiful. Being able to enjoy everything you can and hold onto those emotional moments tightly before dying. We will talk about that in this review on To Your Eternity, an anime the protagonist “Fushi” is an immortal being who has the ability to create everything that has ever hurt him or her.

Fushi has another special ability and that is that if he gets a very strong bond with a person/animal, he can transform into that person/animal if certain requirements are approved... We will have to watch the anime to see what requirements these are and understand the reason why. the adventures of our beloved Fushi.

Anime Information: To your Eternity

This anime premiered on April 12, 2021. It is categorized as an anime adventure, drama and supernatural shounen. It has 20 episodes in total with a second season currently broadcast. Each episode has a duration of 24 minutes. It is animated by the animation studio Brain's Base, who has done projects such as: Durarara!!, Oregairu, Blood Lad, Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, among others. I really appreciate this animation studio for animating one of my favorite animes and for their smooth animation that never fails to impress.

Synopsis of To your Eternity

I will leave a small synopsis ahead so you can learn a little more about To Your Eternity in this anime review:

An orb, known only as Item, is launched to Earth to be observed from afar. Able to change shape from beings whose reflections it captures, it first turns into rock and then, due to the increase in temperature, into moss. He doesn't move until one snowy day, when a wolf barely crosses death's door.

When he takes the form of the animal, he becomes aware of his consciousness and begins to wander with an unclear destination in mind. Soon, he meets the wolf's master, a boy who waits for his tribe to return from a paradise abundant in fish and fruits in the south. Although the boy feels alone, he still hopes that those he loves in his memories have not forgotten him and that one day he will be reunited with them. The boy wants to explore new environments and decides to leave his home with It to find paradise. Using the traces left by his tribe.

However, with a severely injured body and without seeing his older comrades, what will become of the boy? Fumetsu no Anata e (To your Eternity) illustrates the story of an immortal being who experiences humanity, meeting all kinds of people in many places over time.”

Personal Review – Review To your Eternity

I started watching this anime only because I heard that its first episode was surprisingly good. To be honest, it was really good and to this day I still watch it on broadcast. This is an anime where you can see the protagonist grow and learn from his mistakes. This means that we can also see his frustration when he can't get what he wants, and it's one of the best things this anime offers. The way it makes you feel many emotions, making you sympathize with the character is one of the things I love about this anime. As Fushi tries his best to not make the mistake he keeps making again, it makes me feel very happy and sad at the same time.

This is an anime that will make you feel many emotions, both happy and sad. So, prepare your tears because it is very likely that many will come. I wouldn't say that it is the best emotional anime in the anime industry, because there are perfectly many others that beat it. What I can say is that it is not the worst either, and it certainly deserves a chance from each of you, and thus draw your own conclusions. My conclusion is that it is a very good anime that I would give an 8/10.

This is this week's recommendation, I hope those who see it like it
