Parasyte

Anime To Reflect

It is also known as Kiseijü, or Parasitic Beasts (although I didn't know that until now) and is a manga and later anime created by Hitoshi Iwaaki in 1988.

I, personally, have not read the manga (although I hope to find time to do so) but I can tell you that the anime itself is incredible and I think it is the most philosophical animation I have ever seen in my life, because it deals with such issues. such as human behavior, fear, ethics and morality, etc…

It is in the category of "Anime for Adults" due to the blood, nightmarish monsters and philosophy it contains, and in general terms it is the story of an alternate world where one day a species of parasites appears that has evolved to hunt and eat humans. specifically, and in this universe (where humans are normal characters and none of them have superpowers or anything like that) a teenager is forced to carry out a symbiosis with a member of this new species, so both learn from each other and evolve accordingly. their circumstances, showing that the ethics of human beings are selfish in themselves and showing us a giant evolution of the main character throughout each chapter, without forgetting at any time the rest of the characters that appear in the story.
