A Doctor and a Stone.
Last Sunday I asked what your favorite anime or manga was, and the general response surprised me quite a bit.
Anyone would expect that the majority's favorite anime would be One Piece, or Death Note or even Chainsaw Man... but no. The anime that had the most votes was Dr. Stone.
Surprising that an anime about science has been the point where most readers converge. I love having readers like this.
Many other anime came out that I also love, but they didn't succeed. Dr. Stone did, against all expectations.
For me, Dr. Stone is also one of the best anime of the last century: it combines the adventure genre with an incredibly playful aspect for the viewer, and it does so without ceasing to be entertaining at any time.
Of course it is my aspiration in life: to entertain and teach, and in that aspect I have a lot to learn from Doctor Piedra.
And Dr. Stone has something special. It presents the viewer with truly epic moments in which our protagonists move forward with blind faith in science. A blind faith in something that they do not see or understand, but they know that everything is under control: they fully trust the scientific method.
You don't know how horny it makes me to see manga scenes of that style: nothing striking happens at first glance, but the message it transmits of power, wisdom, confidence, total control is such that it makes my hair stand on end. just by imagining myself in the skin of the protagonists.
We could say that Dr. Stone is one of my favorite mangas of all time, and I completely understand why it is the Top 1 of several of you.
